Here begins our journey into the slightly twisted mind of Ben Hague, one of the hottest young talents on the comedy scene today. With 3.7 million viewers seeing him kill on the Late Late Show on CBS, and a monthly following on SiriusXM radio, Ben is on his way to becoming the next big thing in comedy. After attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, he began his comedy career at the age of 21 in Los Angeles. Ben's first stand-up performance was at the world famous Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard. Since then, he has shared the stage with such stars as Dane Cook, Dave Attel, Louis CK, Robert Klein, Jeffrey Ross, Amy Schumer, and many others. Ben was a finalist in the Orange County Laff Down and Orange County California's funniest person 2004 & 2005, just months after starting his career. Closer to home, Hague won the Catch A "New" Rising Star competition in his home state of Rhode Island. He headlines comedy clubs throughout the US and Europe, and has performed at over 150 Colleges nationally.
His comedic acting skills lead him to being cast as Jon, the Lead in the outrageously funny web series, "I'll Call You"
which received industry acclaim and was accepted to six festivals around the world in just the first three months after its release!!
Back in 2009 Ben won a spot on FOX Providence's The Rhode Show. Once he joined the cast, the show's ratings jumped in 2010, and Ben became the staple of the show. He then moved on to the #1 radio show in Providence, and was the hilarious voice on the "Giovanni and Kim Show" for 92.3 WPRO FM for more than a year and a half before moving to the big apple, New York City. He now can be heard as a regular guest of the hit SiriusXM Show "My Wife Hates Me" starring Rich Vos and Bonnie Mcfarlane. Ben has since won numerous comedy awards in his native New England and his debut CD "Avoid the Wet Spot" can be found at benhague.com
When not touring the country, Hague is an up and coming screenwriter, having his first film "Getting Home" get accepted into the Action On Film International Film Festival in California. Ben wrote, produced and played the lead character in this 30 minute war drama. His next film "Into Temptation" is currently in pre production.
